This information covers relevant topics like “Emergency Paid Sick Leave,” the “Families First Coronavirus Act,” and the status of pawn stores as “Financial Institutions Under Federal Law.” This information can now be easily accessed by anyone at Mr. Rainey added, “It’s fair to say that no other organization provides the quality information, research and lobbying updates at the federal level that the NPA does. However, it is also our job to make sure that every pawnbroker across the country sees and understands the results of this work in this unprecedented time.”

In the future the NPA will be publishing more essential alerts and information to help pawnbrokers continue to do business in this precarious environment. The NPA encourages all pawnbrokers to review the website and contact by phone or email with any questions or concerns.
